The first round of public meetings on the Airport Master Plan update was held to introduce the Airport Master Plan update project and to seek initial input from the general public on the future role of the airport and a vision for its development. The public meetings were held in both Ottawa and Gatineau, as follows:

Information presented at the public meetings included the following:

  • What is the Airport Master Plan?
  • Why is the Airport updating its Master Plan?
  • What will the Master Plan Update include?
  • A review of the land use and policy context, including federal, provincial, and municipal plans and policies
  • Maps of the regional context surrounding the Airport, as well as land use constraints
  • Next steps

The same information was presented at both meetings and was available in both official languages. Airport staff and its consultants were available to answer questions. Attendees were also asked to complete an online survey.
